Medium boots (sometimes confusingly called light boots before the November 10 update) are a form of footwear in Swords & Potions. Generally made of sturdy leather, they provide more foot protection than simple shoes, but do not have the full armoring of heavy boots. As they represent a good compromise between mobility and protection, they are bought by a wide variety of classes, specifically the Archer, Barbarian, Berserker, Engineer, Musketeer, Singing Axe, Soldier, Thief, and War Wizard.
Some simpler medium boots can be made by the tailor alone, but most recipes also require the cooperation of the carpenter. Most of the recipes for medium boots available are relatively low-end, although the new loose boots do provide a late-game option in this category (although one with a relatively poor rate of return on rare material usage).
